This book is absolutely indispensable for anyone who works with framing research. As a collection of methods from some of the leading framing researchers in the social sciences, it will help you figure out the best way to construct your own methodology based on a number of concerns and factors, and help you figure out how to balance quantitative and qualitative measures while deciding exactly how you will understand what a frame to be in your project. Lisa Eareckson Kelley began working aboard Expedition ships in 2000. Most at home in the polar regions, she spends over half the year in the Arctic and Antarctic. During the Austral winter of 2010, she was the station manager at Palmer Station for the United States Antarctic Program. Passionate about the future of Antarctic and Arctic tourism, she is an active member of the International Association of Antarctic Tour Operators and the Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators.

This classic text book on Structure-Borne sound transmission is a must-have for anyone in the field of noise & vibration. The book is relatively easily to follow. It is full of very useful and practical information. It is highly recommended as a reference for graduate students and practicing engineers.

This very comprehensive book is well explained and detailed, from the basic sound propagation formulae to control room treatment. It is also useful in our acoustic consulting activities and technical suport for solutions, as "rain on the roof noise" and "foot-fall noise" at residential and business buildings
