Beautifully illustrated...

Almost every page contains a full page, beautiful color reproduction. Of course, Matisse is the most heavily represented
of the group, but other fauves aren't given short shrift. Derain, Marquet, Dufy and others are given sufficient coverage.
The author provides a brief and readable history of the movement. All in all, it's an excellent introduction to fauvism.

The pictures were clear & with good color, and this is what I wanted. Some art books have pictures in black & white, why even bother.
